With the re-districting of Toronto Real estate map , the way we search properties is completely going to change for Pickering. The Pickering map has been divided in to 16 districts from 3 we had before E12,E13 and E18, starting with the Rural Pickering , Rouge Park , Highbush , Rougemount , Rosebank , West Shore , Woodlands , Bay Ridges , Brock Industrial , Dunbarton , Town Centre , Village East , Liverpool , Brock Ridge , Duffin Heights and Amberlea.
Now a buyer can narrow down to a paticular neighbourhood of Pickering ,rather than browsing through all the properties on the MLS. But buyers who want to buy a home in particular school boundary or a postal code will still have to search by overlaying the school boundary map with the Treb map as they might not be exactly same.
Hopefully there was some reasoning behind these neighbourhoods besides just boundaries for real estate .I would be definetly intrigued if buyers would ask , Tom I just want to buy in Dunbarton instead of Whites road and Sheppard. Maybe buying in Dunbarton High School boundry would make more sense.
